Vita
Having studied physics at the universities of Mainz and Göttingen and graduated in Freiburg i. Br., I acquired also specialised knowledge in the intersection of physics, chemistry and biology.
I carried out research e. g. on new carbon based materials using laser spectroscopy, mass spectroscopy as well as scanning probe microscopy, typically with specially constructed equipment and simulation techniques, working at MPI for Fluid Dynamics in Göttingen, University of Freiburg, Lash Miller Chemical Labs in Toronto, MBI for Nonlinear Optics and Short Pulse Spectroscopy in Berlin, MFA-KFKI in Budapest, European Molecular Biology Lab in Heidelberg and the Physics Institute of the University of Bristol.
Since 2013 I am German Patent Attorney with Cremer & Cremer and with ever growing enthusiasm for connections between basic research and application-related R&D.
